like Tiny 7 said a decent dog lad on your wave length and you can have a good night and its good to watch another dog run aswell as your own

i do both love to walk lamp with another not for the company but love to wotch the other dog run also i mostly go from car so a few of us go and bag a fair bit of stuff cant beat it realy imo

Always with someone any thing can happen broken leg and your in a lot off trouble by yourself.A lot places you won't get a mobile working

always go with somebody else if you get pulled you have somebody else backing you up with the same story and also any accidents another pair of hands could be needed.

well its worked the other way from me got pulled twice and if there would have been a few of us they would have probly took the dogs n car

I normally lamp with a friend, but i also have lamped several times on

my own which is a different experience, IE when lamping with my mate

we both have lamps and whoevers run it is goes in front a bit and when

its his run,my friends, my dog seems to pull a lot more on the slip.But when by

myself lamping he just walks along with me on slip. I love lamping and have

done, for nearly 37 years.Looking back over those years and seeing how

our landscape has changed, and far less game as yesteryear..

Its great though when you get those realy dark windy nights, the ones we all hope for

and you put that beam of piercing light across the field, and the rabbits are far

out feeding.. I love it..

usually a single handed job but enjoy a good friends company from time to time. I once went lamping with a couple of marra's who were drunk and it was hellish!!

If I am going out for a fair few hours then with a mate but if it's only for an hour or so I go by myself tbh I like it by my self coz I'm a greedy fecker and like all the runs for my dog lol.

 

On a serious note a good lad with a half decent mutt can make for a good night's sport

which would mean f**k all to any officer and not go in your favor what so ever, but an extra pair of hands helps to keep your ass twitching as much if your anywhere hot
