Mistake On Ticket Variation

Recommended Posts

Deker, did the police query why you might want more than one rifle in .22lr ? They asked me to get rid of my old 10/22 when I put in for my Anshutz but after a couple of months readily agreed to another 10/22 for a NV setup!

I run my own Game and Vermin Control business, and I'm Secretary of a Home Office approved club at Bisley, I have 2 x FAC, one for me and one for the club, guns are relatively easy for me to get.

Most of my guys have their own guns but the 16" CZ .22lr which I recently sold was a staff gun I got for one of my guys. The situation changed and I put it back on my FAC and having no further realistic use for it simply sold it, that was around January. Strangely enough another situation recently developed and I have a CZ .22lr Style on my FAC as well at the moment, so back up to 3 x .22lr.

No pressure from anyone, but mine is not your everyday situation.

O well iam not complaining. My ticket come back today with all things corrected. But the 400 rounds for the .22 and the 200 for the hmr I asked for is now 750 rounds of each. They must of misplaced my original request and just put down 750 of each. All going well I will have the .22 at least this weekend. Unless the gun shops will do a deal for the pair .22 and .17hmr.

750 is far more sensible anyway as many buy RF cartridges in bulk in cases of 500 (or 1,000's which you can't do).

Hence the 750 allowance, for 500's, 1 full + 1/2 box.
