bird 9,873
nice pup mate, got a bit of fire in her belly then lol atb mc that's what I was thinking, rather have one like that than a nervy thing. But still good idea to have one friendly to other dogs, nothing worse when dogs kicking off more so lurchers that are used to catching+killing stuff . nice pup how it bred Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
Maybe she should of been introduced to different situation's earlier around the 3 / 3 1/2 mth age.. Edited April 28, 2014 by Millet Quote Link to post
lurchers 2,768
You should of checked her for doing it then went to show her the sheep and learn the word no.but keep at it so it will be a everyday thing for her mate.nice pup to. Quote Link to post
nomoon 542
joking apart i agree with bird and millet, but keep her on a long line and take her to stock and other dogs every day,or as often as you can,and if she reacts bad tug line and reprimand and praise as apropreate, habituations the thing, and as for fire you can knock it out but you cant knock it in,atb mc Quote Link to post
jimmy1982 153
I agree with you nomoon with abit of fire in the belly of a dog. Shes not what you call going upto dogs and starting with them she does it when another dog comes sniffing round. Had her off lead today and she could hear another dog down wood and ran off a bit up the mud track lol. She saluki grey foxy charlie on sire and dams side thats all I really know about the dog. I think tho when she was a young puppy shes had to fight for her food because shes nasty even over water. Wont let any of my older dogs near the bowl eyes watching there every move funny but not if you know what I mean to see a pup putting the older dogs in there place Quote Link to post
