I have herd some lads believe that rabbits will turn away from light coloured nets,,,,weather that cos of the colour,,or just that rabbit didn't fancy it,,,who knows,,,, my own view is colour don't mater to the rabbit,,,but of course it can make it easier for the human to not loose nets

Same here colour doesn't,t matter if a rabbits got a ferret up its asre it should bolt , colours only for the ferreted to pick up his nets and no look like a amateur leaving nets laying about

Most of my nets are 4 footers, couldn't be bothered rummaging in a bag to find one that fits best, its a bit like one size fits all.

But i would get at least 4 poke nets for really big burys and handy for tree roots etc.

I think the rabbit notices the actual net over the hole rather than the colour. I've seen them at the mouth of the hole just touching the net then going back down. also when you miss a hole with a net they seem to bolt from it. but as said when the ferret is on them it don't matter one feck, they'll bolt

Ive made them out of orange poly twine i thought id see them better with what everyone is saying 4ft and over should be fine for most holes then thanks again for all your comments
