tsteve9999 456
I can see why no one takes them to court if they are going to charge 67k for 15 months board, ffs that's a grand a week! How on earth do they justify it?
dymented 2,220
there conviction rate is high because no one has that kind of cash to throw away coupled with the fact if you lose they will want there costs as well so its soon well over 100k so 99% take the easy rout out and plead guilty to save on costs ect that is all Most cases that appeal to the crow court have them over turned you only have to look at Claude the cats case if they didnt have the cash to get specialist solicitor in or have video evidence They to would have been prosecuted and convicted with all the lies the rspca have told live on radio and in the papers branded criminals before a trial to try and save there skin With the rspca its all about the cash they can make nothing more

neil82 1,066
first thing I`d like to know is who asked for such a long adjournment, if its them I would ask a judge to ask them why, with their high cost legal team its taking them so long to prepare, should think by now it would be easy to convince a court that they are deliberately stalling
sussex 5,777
Dy this must be doing your head in , it would me .! How do they justify 6 month adjournment , is it purely down to how busy the court is ? or down to the arsespca ? Clearly no one seems to care about the dogs welfare & well being (apart from you ) or the money being spent (wasted) looking after the dogs that would be better of at home .The one consolation is that this case may deter people from leaving legacy's to the arse spca ..Stick with it Dy ..

albert64 1,882
must be pissing you off all this dy, a 6mth adjournment stinks abit theres an article in the daily mail this morning how there trying to prosecute a hunt in dorset it doesn't paint the rspca in a good light they've spent 22.5 million pound in the last 2 yrs prosecuting people that's peoples hard earned money thinking there helping animals its about time the press exposed the organisation for what it is

rodp 316
You need to find out just how much of the donations actually goes to the animals, and what's creamed off as salaries and expenses. Someone did that to the salvation army years ago, when I was a youth, and it nearly wiped them out. No-one would give them anything and they were banned from collecting in the local pubs. Must have been in the late seventies if anyone remembers it !

Onlyworkmatters 1,584
I think the rspca will drag this out as long as possible then at the last minute make Dyented an offer he will find very difficult to refuse along with a tied in gagging order
