VOON 1,317
OK, so maybe I'm being naive, but this is one of the most bizarre things I have ever read and I'm struggling to get my head round it. Is there anything to corroborate this ? Location of RSPCA branch, solicitor's office location, name of vet would be good. If its all true, then its obviously despicable, but I'm struggling to take at face value to be honest. You in the rspca?

Do you allso take at face value that a once great orginisation set up to save animals and protect there welfare is now run by the LACS and PTS daily healthy animals , take money under false pretences and use it for the wrong reasons. LMFAO 94
The sad and sorry truth is, antis and brain washed public will read this story showing no sympathy. Antis, so called animal lovers will actually be happy. They see the dog as nothing more than an animal killer and will think its death will save loads of potential animals it would have killed. They have proved that with the treatment they've dished out to hounds on a hunt. What they fail to understand is, without hunters like us, the country would be over run with vermin. Rabbits, rats, foxes left to breed uncontrolled. It's dogs like this poor one that keep numbers down. I hope anyone reading this realizes the pain hunters go through seeing animal cruelty like this. We deserve our animals to be treated better than this by organizations supposedly there for there welfare. This isn't an isolated case, just one of the few that's getting attention.

They seem to class an animal as a tool it is not its part of the family. Which is loved and respected and cared for !!! How would you feel if the rspca did this to you do not think for a moment it can not happen it can and dose happen. And not just to hunting folk. Waking up each morning not knowing if your dogs will be alive or dead in there care.
LMFAO 94
They do mate and I think the RSPCA don't even see them as that, more a necessity to keep the money rolling in. If they really cared about animals, we wouldn't be seeing this time and time again. I don't know a single person who has had dogs seized and when they see them, the dogs aren't in poor condition. pesky1972 5,270
Dymented, truly shocked to read your story pal, and I sincerely hope that you eventually get the justice you deserve. Surely those responsible have broken the law by putting the dog in a position to be attacked, in doing so failed in their 'duty of care' to an animal in their care, and could/should be prosecuted under the Animal Welfare Act... the same as anyone else would be??? More accounts of 'heavy handed' RSPCA officers operating on the fringes or even outside the law and acting o the flimsiest of 'evidence' to sieze family pets reported in the Telegraph last year http://www.telegraph.co.uk/lifestyle/pets/10149908/The-RSPCA-made-US-feel-like-criminals.html Dymented's story is a big deal, and should definetely get national media exposure. Maybe Andrew Gilligan of the Guardian would be interested in following up his report?
