Jim . . . having a less than perfect dog is just what you need matey. . . All the great expectations of your own well reared/bred /entered/trained pup is too much to live up to. . . you would just end up repeating yourself and going out and testing everything to the Max as per usual.

 

you can enjoy that dog on and turn it into a decent little pot filler... no pressure to be a world beater on you or the dog.

 

it might end up being your most enjoyable winter yet my friend.
