tjones3862 3,423
Jim . . . having a less than perfect dog is just what you need matey. . . All the great expectations of your own well reared/bred /entered/trained pup is too much to live up to. . . you would just end up repeating yourself and going out and testing everything to the Max as per usual. you can enjoy that dog on and turn it into a decent little pot filler... no pressure to be a world beater on you or the dog. it might end up being your most enjoyable winter yet my friend. THEM WORDS, WHAT YOU WROTE, ARE VERY TRUE TO LIFE,,,, WHEN ERN CAME A LONG,,, THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE SAID HES GOT SOME BIG BOOTS TO FILL,, AFTER SNIPE,,, OK HE FILLED THEM A LOT MORE THAN I EVER THOUGHT,,, WHEN I LOOK BACK THAT WAS PRESURE ON ME AND NOT TO FORGET ERN,,,,,,,,NO MATTER WHAT ;; I DONT WANT TO GO UP THAT ROUTE EVER AGAIN,,,,,, Quote Link to post

breeze 1,336
Jim . . . I know that looks don't really bother you that much in dogs, but must say she looks a cracking bitch. Like you say you know where the bitch is from and what she has done to date, so there's half the battle when you take something on at that age. Give her ago I say what you got to lose 1 Quote Link to post
