The scottish national team went down hill few years before english. Due to the fact rangers and celtic bought all foreign players in the mid 90s. The same is happening now with the top 4 and 5 teams in england. When the last of this generation of older players fizzle out there going be no decent english players left. Bout 10 or 15 years ago there just seem to be to much quality in the english team, I dont know whos got to replace them as there no yung english talent coming through the big teams anymore. Here a fine example you have got one of the best cosistant left backs in the world for the past 10 years, sitting on a bench at chelsea. Thats nonsense !........Foreign players were better than English players 30 years ago same as they are now,the only reason folk are comparing to the England team now is that those foreign players are playing in front of our eyes every week.......There is as much young talent coming through in Britain as there ever was.....infact moreso in Wales.......Scotland the game is dead compared to the players there was 30 years ago.
