Brigzy 1,298
Russian troops massing on the border of the Ukraine, America sending troops to the Balkans, TU Bear aircraft testing the UK's defences and readiness ??? Why the hell are the West interested weather Ukraine is part of the Russian Federation or not ? The EU has caused this crisis by trying to expand into Eastern Europe; dangling the carrot of EU membership and NATO membership to the Ukraine and the surrounding countries ! Russia would only put up with so much; they see their borders being threatened by the "West" and will now show their claws !! The West needs agreement between dozens of countries, but Russia only needs Putin to say "GO" !! For Christs sake, leave Russia and the Ukraine to sort it out; the Crimea, part of Ukraine, WANT'S to be Russian, what the f**k has it got to do with us ??
Themoocher 231
Russia has a lot of military assets in Crimea. They have push Ukraine to a coup, with Russia having a lot of assets in Ukrainian state (Crimea). What the f**k did they expect Putin todo? Sit back and let them coup his Black Sea naval fleet base and kick his 25k soldiers out of Crimea? The west new exactly what they where doing when fookin about in Ukraine. Trying get on Putin tits.
Brigzy 1,298
After the "wall" fell and the breakup of the USSR; the Bear went into hibernation and regained it's strength. They took control of most of Western Europe's energy supplies, and waited. The EU made the massive mistake of thinking it had Western Europe tied up, and decided, without consulting any of it's members, to expand into Eastern Europe ! The Bear said "enough is enough" and now the EU is shitting itself, and looking to the only two Western Powers, the USA and the UK to bail them out of the shit ! Make no mistake; France may have nuclear weapons, but are a basket case, with a proven history of surrender and appeasment.... The ONLY Western Powers are the USA and to a far lesser degree, the UK. Would anyone here in the UK risk anialhation to keep Crimea out of Russia ????
Brigzy 1,298
Just shows how far we have fell re leadership Churchill Cameron lol Max; I dread a conflict with Russia, (or any body else, for that matter), with Quislings like Cameron, Clegg and Milliband running the country !! They will just issue shite sanctions to try and Get on there tits. Only way uk or USA will get involved is with the full backing of NATO and what is the chances of NATO giving the go ahead with full out war with Russia in the Ukraine. It's like a bunch of old dears at china tea party with NATO.

Born Hunter 17,763
I don't believe NATO assets are being moved east to counter a Russian invasion of Ukrain, that's now a lost cause militarily through a clearly weak western resolve. I believe what is going on is bolstering the defences of the other ex soviet NATO members as a deterent to further Russian invasions. There's a constant 24/7 AWACs patrol and 16 alliance fighters on patrol.

ChrisJones 7,975
As far as weak leaders go a serious conflict would solve that. The strong will emerge and maybe get a few citizens off their arses, and to the ballot, instead of watching Celebrity Dominoes.
