SportingShooter 0
Have you cleaned and stripped the entire gun? Firing mechanism, springs, cocking lever, lugs etc? How many rounds has the gun had through it? Quote Link to post
old school 517
yup stripped it all out till the point where i needed the manual to put it together again lol... as for rounds it must have shot a good 4 thousand... are you think its had its day maybe??? Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Only 4000 rounds from new? If so, that's nothing for a .22 WMR, I would be expecting something closer to the 40,000 mark before the barrel is worn out, if not a lot more. It sounds like its not cocking on the second shot, so either the cocking spring/mechanism is too tight so the energy of the first shot isn't strong enough to re-cock it or a locking lug has worn so it doesn't engage and lock the hammer back on the second shot, If you've stripped it right down and can't see anything obvious, then it's a gunsmith's job Quote Link to post
Wullz 408
I had the same weapon and the same problem, I even bought a new steel mag from the states as I thought mine had gone. I tried it clean/dirty/in between. nothing worked, the inside of my wagon was littered with unfired rounds and my mate and myself were P'd off at missing rabbits. I got shot of it and bought an Anshutz bolt action.....have not regretted it once.... Quote Link to post
