That's right louth we must of had 20 runs that day me and gorger was down with yous some great runs all single handed we never kilt any but evcery dog ran well give good account of themselves just on the day the bigears were better fair play to them we enjoyed it all the same cracking day atvb

There's good and bad hares every where.More the land is run and the hare gets away the better it becomes but some times its not the hare that is hard but the land its run on.

how come you allway here about all they kill and never about all that they miss and same goes for alot of dvd you see

thats the way the dog world is gone jimmy its all about hype, you cant believe anything these days and it all comes down to money and egos.. theres no place in the dog world for an honest man.

I agree with most of what you say BM. But to come out and say that there is no room for an honest man in the dog game is wrong, or do you just mean the coursing game and do you class yourself as one of these "honest men"?

Only a fool would say his dog never misses I've never heard any one say that I've saw plenty dogs miss bigears I've seen dogs do 3s n 4s also was same dogs get 1 from 4 iceys right a lot depends on the land and obstacles if every dog kilt every longear it courses the bigears wouldve been wiped out by now and thers still plenty we had a great season saw loads great to see them atvb

Their is land, in the west of ireland ( not far from roscommon town) that holds a lot of hares, these hares get ran regular, they are very hard to get with a dog, unless your dog is very good, seen a few dogs last season that were meant to be very good, missing these hares..!..all dogs miss in my opinion, weather its lamping or coursing.

What sort off land is it?????
