Home Made Pigeon Magnet With Decoys. Mk 2

Recommended Posts

Pigeon Magnet, All Home made With Flapping Decoys MK2
I have adjusted some things and now have my home made flapping decoys and pigeon magnet working in a way I think is suitable.
The key for flapping was the carbon rods.
£1.21 for 1000mm lengths
Here is a video taken on my phone but you might be able to see how they work.
Nearly there !!!!
LOL

Spent over a tenner now on this set up.....Gutted as I was sure I could do it for less than a tenner.
Thanks

Just a quick update !!!!! confused.gif

I have tried the decoys in the field in really strong wind.
I have 1.5mm carbon rods in the wings,
I am using small hollow fiber glass tent poles that are compact here is a short clip using 3 short poles on each side and then reducing them to 2 short poles on each side.
The pigeons decoyed really good to both set ups !
So my dilemma is weather to use 2 poles per side or the 3 per side.
I also tried these stationary facing into the wind, just letting them flap like hell and that also worked just as well.
Do I need these on a magnet or will these be effective enough on a floater.
Thanks Steve
