Got a lurcher sapling showing signs of mange baldness, treated him three weeks and just done him again as it looks like it is flaring up again is there anything else to use to combat this before the vet charges me a fortune doing skin scrapes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1mil of ivermec once weekly for 3 weeks .this also then covers the incubation period of the mite as well then .inject it under the skin ( scruff of the neck is usually the best place

my young dog Buck got it last year, he bumped into a fox with bad mange. I treated with ear drops+ a capsule put on the neck, all of my vet , that's where he got the mange in his right ear.All the fur come off back of ear, done drops/capsule was gone in 5 weeks  do what your vet said I told mine it was off a fox, as there few different strains that they can get, once the vet knows what it is he will treat it. I f it means paying for scrapes well that's what you got to do,? I was lucky as I seen what mine was

Advocate. One dose should do it, but you may need to treat twice: just a capsule on the back of the neck. Best stuff IMO

that's it penny, couldn't think of the name of it lol, yeh put it on his neck twice and ear drops got rid of it
