WILF 47,583
Normal service has been resumed Malt Good for Giggsy, a player of his stature deserves a result liked that from his team on his first go as manager
NEWKID 27,431
Before Moyes came in, I questioned if Solskjaer would get the job with coaching from Giggs, Scholes and Gary Neville.. It seemed like he had been groomed for the job first in the club then off it's Molde to get a bit more experience... My heart would love to see a management set up made up of the old "class of 92"... My heads nagging me and saying there's a bit it buying to be done, would you give a brand new manager 150 mil to spend? Even if it is Giggs lol.... Good result yesterday, and I liked his subs, particular putting Hernandez on when the game was already won, go get more goals.. He's got 3 games to try and take a bit of a good feeling into the summer, could be another interesting pre season at UTD...
johnny boy68 11,726
There was talk a while back about "the class of 92" led by Beckham setting up a consortium to try and buy the Glazers out.
NEWKID 27,431
There was talk a while back about "the class of 92" led by Beckham setting up a consortium to try and buy the Glazers out. It would have to be led by Beckham.... I wouldn't say Nicky Butt or Gary Neville would have the same kind of bank balance... Edited April 27, 2014 by NEWKID

He's got lots of financial clout in the U.S he's already talking about setting up a new franchise in MLS I think?
Malt 379
There was talk a while back about "the class of 92" led by Beckham setting up a consortium to try and buy the Glazers out. They bought a small local club called Salford FC. Well the Neville's, Butt, Scholes and Giggs did anyway..
Themoocher 231
Will be interesting if utd win there last 3 games, with big results. To See what will happen, there will be a big decission needs to be made. If van gal gets job will he want giggs and his buddies as coaching staff? It will be a hard decision turning down the Trafford legends as manager and coaches if the fans get behind them for last few games.

If it was the choice between some Jonny come lately manager or a dude like Giggs who has played at the level he has, won what he has won and played with and against the players and teams he has then I personally wouldn't think twice about trusting him with the money........nobody top level players more than other top level players. With Scholes in the mix as well, a bloke who to me was everything a professional should be, I don't see how it can be better. It works all ways round, commercially and from a football point of view.......1 game don't mean much but if he can get them playing after the season they have had then he has got to be right up there for consideration
TUFFTY 1,476
Personally I would like to see giggs, scholes, butt and neville take the rains . There is not anyone else who know United.

But giggs and that back room staff of class 92 will take some beaten. Alright he is a new manager and a risk. But let's face it if it works out those legends will still be happy as pigs in shite till they pop there clogs in 25 years time. Get Gary Neville and Becks training team complete. Plus he talks a lot of sense IMO... Here's the problem though.... It all goes wrong, and the legend of those players are slightly tarnished.. Look how some muppets have jumped on Fergie, because it's his fault that Moyes failed or at least his fault In Picking him, these are fans of UTD Ffs ... How fickle can you be.. No one knows UTD better than the people sat on the bench yesterday, and with the right guidance it could work...
