How possibly could a team that has lost the greatest manager of all time allow the reins to be taken up by a guy who has won nothing?????

What effect can he have on giggs etc ?

Apparently very early in his tenure he showed his defensive players a video of jagielka in action and expected them to adhere to his ethics, these are premier league champions and he expected them to copy a player who has again won nothing?

If Moyes is down the road, so should whomever it is in the hierarchy who sanctioned his appointment kowtowing to fergie..it's a colossal business mistake

But united fans..you need to get it in your head that you will never dominate again, the fergie era is over, city and Liverpool and Chelsea are currently light years ahead of you staff wise, if Liverpool keep hold of Suarez this summer they could win the champions league

You are currently watching the worst united side of the prem era

Van Persie? Done, get rid

Fellini and wellbeck? Not good enough, same as carsick Nani and a raft of others

The reliance on the older players is a bit cringeworthy and totally reminiscent of liverpools demise where rush Barnes etc were still the crux of the team surrounded by players who shouldn't be in the strip

Some of the way the players have played, it's been apparent in watching that the messages they receive are mixed in training

No short game

No long game

No pace sitting on a high defensive line for an out ball

No wide runners

No triangles in the midfield

Rooney and mata fighting over the same blade of grass in that number 10 deep role that they both naturally gravitate to

It smacks of defensively minded football, and that is NOT Manchester United

When he dismissed phealen etc and brought in round and Neville , he was bringing in a whole new coaching approach

That was ultimately shown as wholly inadequate when at 2 nil down at Everton, round was shown pulling out a folder marked "set pieces"

This might work at Stoke or WBA but this is united!

TO be reliant upon the workings of a free kick to pull a goal back is not in uniteds DNA!

Sad for the guy , He certainly will never get a crack at a top Club again, but I feel he inherited a very poor squad from AF

Yes, they were champions , but the cracks were showing

he had to go!!! who will be next tho??? forget about klopp he seems happy as a pig in shit in germany BUT dont know why i have the feeling but it seems guardiola likes to travel about after winning loads at a club so maybe he might be tempted to rebuild united......... :hmm::hmm:

either way there is so much work to be done there that the 150million being quoted aint gonna touch the sides lol tough times ahead for united...........

Nuffin todo with fergie.

Utd need move on fast from this shite season.

The cracks were showing in the team that fergie left, a lot of players needed replacing.

But fergie still one the league with ease.

I'm not saying he should have won the league with the squad but he shouldn't be sitting 7th either.

He still spend 80 million in a season.

If he had bought the right players with that 80 million I don't think he would be in as bad postions as they are now.

If you still need play a 40 old player for pace on the wing then buy mata, I just don't get it.

Fellani was stupid as well.

If he had bought two players needed then he wouldn't be as bad a postion.

Think glazers have learned the lesson.

Can't see a mid table manager getting the job.

The problem is what top flight manager will want the job now?

I could have misheard but think the radio guy said Giggs is in as caretaker manager? Im not a football man but its all my station is covering :D

Yeah I don't think he will get the job full time.

Don't think he is ready for it yet.

Saying that thou he's about the same age as Brenden Rodgers lol

Good post mate, can't disagree with any of that.

Time for an overhaul, whoever comes in is going to be trusted with a huge kitty, and they have to make the right signings,

UTD need pace back in the side, (Janzaja will hopefully step up another level next season), at the moment everything is so 1 paced, no penetration

Valencia, nani, evra, vidic (unfortunately), Ferdinand, Fellaini, Carrick, cleverly... all need to be replaced... not sure how you fit Mata, Rooney and RVP into the side, but can't see RVP selling for much now after another season of injuries, so as he's a proven goal scorer when fit I'm sure the next manager will keep him...

So who?
