mate had an accidental litter in the 80s ,greyhound track dog over his doby guard dog bitch.. He kept a bitch..it made 24" and a mate had a dog it was 28"..the bitch looked like a saluki X light on its toes and very very well put together..it ran vary well and was making a good dog before it was flattened by the dreaded parvo virus. . . The dog was a huge lump and had a few hares and the odd bunny but never lived its potential as a worker,only due to the owner not being bothered..I'm sure it would have made a very handy big critter dog .

 

I saw a nice looking dog in Puerto Pollensa,Mallorca a few years ago and that was of the exact same lining..the owner told me a few of the pups were doing very well with the working homes they were placed into.

been googe'ing the cross n there's not much about, few in america found 1 picture that looks "sighthound" ish but as for hunting, nothing, heres what it looks like.

 

 

the magic word when it comes to breeding is "working stock" couldn't see why one with a few years under its belt would do any harm throwing it on a running dog, brains, build, they carry a fair set of lungs about em, just by the look of the breed alone, conformation, made me wonder why they have never been used, because they have got that running dog look ,

bloody hell , I was out last night with Buck about 7pm , when this couple came down lane with a Dob bitch, it started to run at Buck barking at him. He started go for it, not in nasty way just to play , the Dob turned around towards the couple , but Buck was going flat out at it, it shot past them and feckin Buck hit in the chest knocked it into the edge and stood over it He didn't hurt it just winded it , they couldn't say to much to me, because there dog ran at Buck 1st .I didn't think he do that though ,they aint that a small dog , I said he was only playing he only done that because it ran from him. Bloke said both dogs should have been on the lead then , yeh we just put both dogs on lead walked off I suppose its the time of year when you bump into dog walkers now,that you norm (don't) see
