porkycrook 466 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Share Posted April 20, 2014 I have purchased two items direct from China or should it be through E-Bay and has had two different deals, one very good and one real crap. One that was good was for an IR torch, the bad one was for a torch mount. For my bit if you can get from anywhere else at a sensible price do so, or if you have to buy from China keep on top of the deal chase them up at every date. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Last torch bracket I ordered came inside a week. Did hear of batteries not turning up due to regulations or something but I got one ok. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I thought I read the same on a few different forums . Unless the battery is attached to a device , batteries will not be shipped from China. This includes wet spillable lead acid/lead alkaline batteries (such as car batteries), used alkaline metal, nickel metal hydride (NiMH), nickel cadmium (NiCd), zinc-air batteries, and damaged batteries of any type.Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries when not sent with, or contained in/connected to an electronic device, are prohibited.Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries are allowed when sent with or contained in/connected to an electronic device, but are subject to packaging, volume and quantity restrictions.
