Themoocher 231
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27074317 Is it just me or is yaya a very good player but totally different and not the same class as attacking player as messi and Ronaldo? Are the Africa players mentioned as good as the legends. Or is it cause he's black and from Africa he's not rated as highly in the media? It's strange one for a player to come out and make comments like that. Edited April 19, 2014 by Themoocher

Themoocher 231
Me personally I would happily sit on a bench on sat getting paid 100k a week every week. It's like these daft players like Torres, Cole and eto at chelsea on daft money and they ain't kicked baw all season. They are on long contracts at the end of their peak. These clubs are stuck with these players as no ones going pay there daft wages.

Malt 379
He's always been a good player and has had one of his best seasons this year. If he'd been at the level he's at this year consistently for a few seasons, maybe he'd have a point, but even then he ain't as good as the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. They also put in season after season of consistent performances right the top of their game. Typical chip on shoulder routine..
pritch 335
it's awards time, try & grab few extra votes by playing the race card "is it coz i is black"

oneredtrim 148
Leaving aside the bigger question of whether African players are underrated - Yaya gets almost precisely the level of recognition he deserves. He's almost universally recognised as one of the top 20 or so players in the world - which he probably is (or would be if he was ever fit enuf). He's not recognised as one of the best handful of players in the world - which he isn't.
