Gaz_1989 9,539
I've been contemplating one of these for my young lurcher when he is a bit old and I know what sort of size he'll make. Can anyone advise of any alternate craftsman who make working dogs collars? Why? LolWhy?? Because I would like to know if anyone knows if anyone else is making decent collars. Well this is the strong stuff thread so if there is they won't be on here. Lol 1 Quote Link to post
dare 1,103
Have used strong stuff collars and have always lasted. I wouldn't feel safe to use another collar and lead to be honest. Don't understand why people try to save a few quid buying the poorly made shit. The collars aren't exactly expensive for the peace of mind you get and quality of gear. Wouldn't bother trying to save a few quid when it could cost you a dog. Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
how much did you pay for your collar gaz? Honestly can't remember mate. They aren't a lot. Might of been £25 posted with slips. Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Whats your commission Gaz ?,put one on an horse and they would not look out of place,on a sleek and slender running machine they are about as useful as an erectile disorder in a brothel, just my opine,i prefer a more natural piece of leather, better fitting, just as durable and far,far cheaper,im not tight,im careful.Lol. Not on commission, just recommending a quality product to like minded folk. You honestly think this looks big and bulky??? No mate Dawn looks fine.... Hahaha. Thanks Colin. I was worried she was putting weight on. Lol Quote Link to post

Carraghs Gem 1,675
ive always said i prefer a traditional leather collar on a lurcher... i stand by this but for a bull, mastiff or any powerful breed that exerts a lot of pressure on the collar i think they are good collars for dogs that need them 1 Quote Link to post
