Gaz_1989 9,539
I had the same collar as in the top pic and it only lasted 12 months. The brass fittings pushed through the lining and the leather went a right mess. Cracked and ripped. As you say if the dog never gives the collar any stick then they might be ok. But I don't think they rival SS gear. Quote Link to post

alex1987 164
I've been contemplating one of these for my young lurcher when he is a bit old and I know what sort of size he'll make. Can anyone advise of any alternate craftsman who make working dogs collars? Quote Link to post

jf1970 328
how much did you pay for your collar gaz? Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
Have to say I have a couple of strong stuff collars very good never have to worry about a keen dog getting loose. A mate has just bought a couple of collars from an eBay seller they look like complete shite when put next to the real deal. Why look elsewhere and try and save a couple of quid on cheap foreign copies when strong stuff gear is all you need for the dogs lifetime. 2 Quote Link to post

BORDERSCOT 3,816
Whats your commission Gaz ?,put one on an horse and they would not look out of place,on a sleek and slender running machine they are about as useful as an erectile disorder in a brothel, just my opine,i prefer a more natural piece of leather, better fitting, just as durable and far,far cheaper,im not tight,im careful. Lol. Not on commission, just recommending a quality product to like minded folk. You honestly think this looks big and bulky??? No mate Dawn looks fine.... Quote Link to post
