I agree Morton but for the large breeds such as are lasses great Dane I think they look well, on a lurcher they dont. The traditional collar can't be beat 1 Quote Link to post

morton 5,368
Gaz,look how far it sticks out at the throat,i rarely have a collar on a runner when its working, its rare that accidents do happen with collars getting snagged, but it happens, especially with a collar that does not fit the contour of the neck.Your mutt, your preference, who cares?. 1 Quote Link to post

DeerhoundLurcherMan 997
I personally didn't like my tapered lurcher one, as on my dog the wide part sat lop sided..... So I bought a 1,1/2 inch 5 ply brown one with steel fittings and its perfect..... And I got a 1 inch matching one for the pup.... I wouldn't use anything else... 2 Quote Link to post
