Magnetically Or Electrically Charged?

Recommended Posts

Just lately Ive been getting electric shocks off two or three different cars/van and also Ive been setting shop alarms off usually entering the shop but not coming out? Sometimes its both. This has happened in my local shop and local asdas. Any ideas? Cant wait till I can harness the power and shoot lightning bolts out of my palms

What you wearing? I get them all the time if I've got a fleece on or my Wales rugby top! It's static building up on the man made fibres as you're moving about in the seat of a car. It can't go anywhere until you get out the car and it can find a way to ground so it builds up. Before you put your foot on the ground when stepping out of the car, make sure you're touching a metal part of the car. The charge will dissipate then, you only get a shock when it leaps a small gap to get to ground, like when you go to shut the car door. It's probably the field off the charge you're holding that's setting the alarms off and all. By the time you've walked round the shop the charge has had a chance to escape, that's probably why you ain't setting the alarm off on the way out.

Normally just combats and t shirt Malt. Not the cheapo type either, genuine ex army, theres more poly in the cheap copy`s, which I swerve. I had the shocks all last summer from wearing swimming shorts, as soon as I stopped wearing this certain pair, it stopped. Now it happens what ever Im wearing. Also sometimes I`ll walk the shop and the alarm goes off, no car no static? Got to be something along your line of thinking as some days I`ll take my flat cap off and my hair crackles. Weird. Must be moving too fast
