I sharpen the knife before each trip, I only used it this time because my new knife Mac bought me was still in the car! As for the springer, soon! 2 of my mates said they want to come out and try hunting, so I'll let them use my 100 and I'll be on the 97!!!!

whats the new opinel like for keeping its edge? I have an old battered one that needs a good sharpen but when I get round to it it will be worth it. good knifes

 

and when am I going to see a hunting write up from you with the springer?!!!

Was out last night with the new rooky i used the 97k Skot sitting at a constant 11,02 and she claimed 4 crows and 2 pigeons but the camera battery s die,d so no photos or write up but i did love shooting the 97k atvbmac

So the rookie is now the teacher don't be to soft on them and if they put you or eny one else in danger send them packing with a thick ear your more than capable now of teaching some one else how to hunt HELL you have been doing better than me lately just remember the rules and the do,s and don't,s dont let them take the p*ss out of you and do not give them your rifle especially the hw100 atvbmac

Yes you are bud you will do ok with them just be me and they will be ok and if not just pm me and ill tag along and sort them out MY WAY you have turned out ok just think back you new jack sh*t when you started and now your one of the best out there (even if you still have to learn how to walk quietly)so go give them sh*t its the only way to learn and them wabbits in the back field are still doing my head in just let me no when you want to go atvbmac :thumbs:
