Ads 39
Morning everyone. As the title says really! I left some rabbit skins outside last nite and this morning they've vanished. They were in the back garden with the dog. I wouldn't have expected her to eat just the skins as she doesn't really show an interest in them when the chase is over and there dead. She's already had two of the neighbours cats, so can't see cats taking them while the dog was there and she's shown an interest in foxes so I wouldn't have expected those to get in and out without the dog having them either! I'm totally baffled! Thanks in advance for any suggestions Adam Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
My bitch won't eat rabbits in the field (although she did once eat a rabbits head and bring me the body, never happened before and never happened since, strange dog!) however if we are at home she will eat them whole and would eat 4 x rabbit skins no problem. She would eat 4 x whole rabbits for that matter. They won't hurt her. Quote Link to post

Maximus Ferret 2,063
. I wouldn't have expected her to eat four full skins though. I once dried a sheepskin and used it as a rug. When a mate strayed overnight we left his dog inside and he (the dog) ate the whole skin. Quote Link to post
