bird 9,943
With this bit of warm weather, you prob noticed you seeing more dogs walkers out, than morm , well I am. I ve been seeing this woman+bloke out with cocker spaniel , its only young about 8 months old very nice friendly pup, but I think over weight got no waist to it, its not puppy fat you can tell well ithink you can. in friendly chat I said it was bit to heavy and it wont help the pup with its health latter on , I told he my sister had cockers before and they can put weight on easy, and her vet told her to keep it light as possible , the bloke said bit sharp lol, he a pet not like your working dogs, and we are happy with him the way he is.!! and your dogs look bit thin to me. I said a healthy dog shows bit of rib, and both my 2 do, and Buck deff does show bit of rib now as just finished working him, prob put couple lb on him in the summer but not lot more,i like to keep my dogs fairly fit all year if I can . Well said ok mate your dog do what you want, if you want to knock years of its like that's up to you. then I just walked off. maybe I shouldnt have said nout in the 1st place,? and kept it shut 2 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
It's the worst thing about the summer, other folk and other dogs all over the shop. Mind you sometimes you do meet the odd sound one, with a nice dog, who enjoys a blast with the runners. Amazing how many dogs are over weight. But then amazing how many kids are . . . . so there you go. Quote Link to post
