Guest little lurcher
mine are kennel dogs most born and bred in them , but i have 2 that are indoor reared and i found i had to do it gradually and make it extra warm, be prepared for a lot of noise! but do it slowly and im sure the pup will be fine quickly , ive noticed my dogs indoors dont have as nice shiny coats as the kennel dogs and i personally feel is because the central heating is drying on the skin, just my opinion , good luck Quote Link to post
Paul in North Lincs 15
As long as there is warm, and dry sheltered area...theres no reason why they cant go out straight away....mine were out at weeks Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
If your'e taking a pup from its littermates at this time of year (there was a frost last night in Cambs) I'd put a heat lamp up for it at night if it's going to be outside. Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Heat lamps are good for pups outside in the winter. Quote Link to post

minion 29
Mine is in a kennel during the day out the back of my work and in the house at night. She is a whippet and has no problems being out the back. Quote Link to post
