Lord Orford outcrossed his coursing greyhouds to bull to give them more courage,heart ,grit "gameness" ,call it what you will.

Apparently the first few generations were a little to "heavy" to win these compertitions,but,a little further down the line he bred a famous dog.(bitch?)

Someone on here with more knowledge than me,and A LOT MORE knowledge than you will know what it was called.

Something like "casandra" or something?

Anyway most moden greyhounds go back to this line,reputedly its were the brindle comes from
