you have to lay boards on top of floor boards and screw them every 6inchs id say a 3/8 ply board and all screws need to be counter sunk, you then have to uni bond the the boards and

I would have done but you no how it is with concrete floors

sorry didnt look properly  iv done right through my house with 600 x 600 tiles all i did was found the cnter of the room got it square and worked outwards both sides so the cuts around the outsides are uniform all the same size and then cut and fixed them the next day
ya chuffed eye good for you biggis lol

I tile for a living, don't start off a wall work your cuts out from the center, looks better, move the tiles to suit the cuts if they are small cuts a,t the edge.   Russ

No worries , no rooms are truly square so if you work your cuts out from the center leaving a good cut round the edges you don't notice it running out. Like what's already been said I'd remove the toi

Lino.................pub...................result

A tidy up wouldn't go amiss. You can't lay Lino over a pile of rubble.

Although it would make a nice pillow when you fall off the shitter pissed.

that's me done for the night with pulling out teeth and building a wall and scraping cork tiles I'm done ???

Start from the center and work your cuts so you don't end up with a proxy cut. And brick bond them.

then I'd have shity cuts up both sides there's going to be cuts on the left dont think you'l notice as much ? Rather have the right hand side whole tiles ? Thanks ?

Hay in, set your tiles out across from the rad wall to the bath as long as your not ending up with a dicky half inch cut then start from there, take the toilet out and work from the top of the bathroom out so your not going over your laid tiles

just done that there's about 4 inches so will I stagger the joints?. And if I take my toilet off will the sisterin ( shut it brigzy) fall down
no it should be attached to the toilet as it's close coupled as long as you turn the water off you should be fine

The cistern only rests on the toliet, held in place by a couple of wingnuts. Probably a couple of screws into the wall.

The cistern shouldn't fall down if it was fitted properly ! LOL ! Best to remove the toilet, much easier than tiling round it. If it raises the toilet to much to reconnect, there are offset connectors to reconnect it back to the waste pipe. Stop being a tight Scot and pay someone to do the job properly, you know it makes sense !!
