moxy 617 Posted April 10, 2014 Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 Took my daughter along to one of paddocks we look after and introduced her to the pulsar. We got set up 25 yds parrel to a hedge line and row of trees from where the rabbits emerge into the field. Making the shot range from 25- 65 yds. Had a nice hour watching the rabbits pop out from the trees. Having a chase about before settling to feed and allowing us to pick our target and take a comfortable shot. More so for my daughter as the rapid doesn't fit her very well. What made the shooting a little awkward was the amount of hedgehogs. There must have been upwards of 15 tinkering about and in and amongst the rabbits. To add. That's the third time I'm my daughters 12 years she has seen hedgehogs. They are not as common where we live. So a nice steady wait and a good choice of shot we slowly knocked a few over. She accounted for 3 nice clean head shots. Good lass We could have stayed a fair while and racked up a few more but some inconsiderate shite decided to let off a barrage of fireworks and all went quiet. Still another week of school holidays so I'm sure we be out again. Quality time. The woody and crow managed to land within the range whilst re zeroing the 550. (During the day) Quote Link to post
