fireman 11,093
Had some new arrivals of my own yesterday in the shape of some little fluffy greenfinches and today i gave them the quick once over when i was topping up the live food and putting in the daily dandilions and chickweed ration and i have 4 chicks .After i'd finished i made the old cuppa and sat in front of my flights to watch the birds feeding on the bits i'd just put in as it great to see all of the different birds all over it and eating what god intended for this time of year , The greenie hen filling up on mealworms and flying up and feeding them to the chicks, redpoll pair feeding each other, goldfinches carrying nesting stuff and to put the cherry right on top of a grand old scene was one of my bullies treading his hen .Fecking love just sitting and watching it all happening from courtship,to nest building,to rearing and just had to say what a great day bird wise i've had . Pics will follow shortly
