roybo 2,873
I have a patterdale x cocker .I'm sure there are differences between the Springer and cocker ,apart from size, but she's a handy little bitch ,covers a lot of ground and lots of drive.I'm sure as long as the Springer is a working type They should be handy.your main problem will be STOPPING them hunting so get recall right Quote Link to post
Stud dog 632
My mate had one and as said it was a Demon in the cover always seem to kill most times we were out the only thing was you could not get the thing to stop working so as said get the recall right are you will have a problem stopping it Quote Link to post

tatsblisters 10,097
TBH imo cross any other small type working dog with a good strain of spanial and you should get a dog that will hunt and bush. 1 Quote Link to post
