Elevated Shooting Position For .22 / Condition Applied

Recommended Posts

I'd put a complaint in personally. Unless we stand up and speak out about the bad service we receive as shooters they continue to get away with it!

I wasn't allowed a centrefire / condition for deer. Wanted me to pay £500 odd quid n do the DSC 1.

I had to remind them this wasn't a requirement and I had all necessary conditions and would need to speak to my legal team  bit of a stickly moment but in the end they dropped the condition. :boogy:

One day I will probally go and do DSC 1 anyways, but when I feel I want to to further my own knowledge, not because they said so!

I have permission on a farm that has over 1000 acres at the time I had a restricted ticket

I wanted to shoot a 22 in a pit hole just to practice as I was new to fire arms

The land had been shot over before but only by lads with open tickets

The chap turns up to inspect the land and insists the farmer drive him in the landrover all around

The headland of the farm . He was there over 2 hours . It's a farm surrounded by farms with no public foot paths

I do think they come up with the stupidest things I also wonder if they have got a stupidest restriction competition

Going in the office you can Imagine . hey look at this I restricted this lad to not being able to shoot unless his feet are

Off the ground beat that .

Haha at least I know I'm not the only one being taken for a ride, it's a complicated world.

How jealous I am over people with open tickets right now lol.

I've been onto BASC previously mate, when land wasnt passed and they advised what steps to take.

I've seen a few lads complaining about the request for DSC 1, think some are just pure power crazy and other are scared to make a decision incase anything comes back on them.

The DSC1 course costs between £225 and £275 depending on the course provider. They even run one in Barry so it's not too far and you won't have any accommodation costs to stump up for

Don't cough up £500 for any of it!
