Pcp Loosing Charge

Hi guys

My trusty bsa scorpian t-10 had not been used for a few week came to check it out before my Friday shoot and the pressure had dropped off that bad it would not push a pellet down the barrel I know I put 190 in it before i put it away. Filled it back up and fired as normal is this any thing to be worried abou ?

Full it to normal fill and leave it 5 days see if the pressure stops again , if it does it

will just need a service a think and all the seals doing not to bad if you take it to a loacal shop

Cheers will give it a fill when I put it away and see what happens after 5 days

The repair will be around 50 quid mate

Maybe some Molykote grease on the seals?

 

It'll be a damn sight cheaper than taking it in for a repair and next to no down time.

The grease will not last as long as a pair of seals ? And will just not be right for the gun ? Or do people use this ?

I'm thinking more that you need to keep the existing seals lubricated or you'll have the same problem over again some time down the line.

part of the standard cleaning kit and almost every time the bottle is removed a smidge over the o ring will extend the life of the seal. Plus ensuring you obtain a correct seal.
