Themoocher 231
Seen some lad down the side vege of the A7 borders this morning walking a black in white lurcher was like a 3/4 type cross and black terrier. Didnt have a lesh on the dogs. Thought to myself they must well trained dogs. Cause I could never trust any my dogs in the past if they seen something they be off. R.A.W 1,987
I put my lurchers on a lead near busy roads too. If I ask them to stay close them they fall behind but.....it only takes one thing to trigger they're chase reflex and all that time effort and love could be snatched away by a fast moving car

I wouldn't trust any of my dogs on the road. Fair play you must have them well trained and disciplined to do that with terrier.

treecreeper 1,136
Used to be an old English sheep dog from the pub near me that used to take itself for a walk around the block, the pubs on a cross roads of the A6. I wouldn't take the risk with mine even though she stops at kerbs or when I tell her too.
