netrigger 568
This is the latest net that I have knitted up. Its around the 25 yard mark in length and is made with two fine strands of spun polyester.. Its really light in weight and has a 4 1/2" full mesh . I made the selvedge meshes from a thicker polyester and in a full mesh, this helps the main body of the net fall between the lines nicely .. The running lines are 1.5mm braided polyester , I chose this size of line to keep the net as light weight as possible.. All that's left to do now is splice the lines together and it will be good to go. Regards.. 6 Quote Link to post

All the best chap!! Mr Goodcat. I only just clocked that now you mention it. The body looks like its hanging very natural. I might give it a go on the double stranded stoppie Ive just finished. Would I be right in thinking that it would only been of any use on the top line, as that where it hangs from and the bottom is touching the floor? Quote Link to post

Once the nets set up then that's correct Bob, though for running out and picking up especially fine nets then I would say the thicker full mesh selvedge makes a slight difference .. Just the single sheet bend Joe for the main body,, though for the selvedge I used the carrick so to add that slightly more weight to the top/bottom mesh.. Regards.. Quote Link to post
