Blister On Vulva ??

Got a hopefully preg jill that has been mated over a week ago and swelling has gone down loads but just checked and there seems to be a blister or sore on her mary lol have wiped it with clean water she seems fine has any one come across this before ? Sorry cant get photos up for some reason

Had the same problem with my jill last year,The vet at stapenhill (Highland Vets) Gave me some cream to rub on her vulva,and told to keep its hutch cleaned out has often as possible,

Had this on my jill now that she's been screwed, her vulva has gone down and the blister has disappeared. I did used a bit of warm water to soothe it and clean it though didn't know whether it was painful or not.

 

there was also some liquid oozing from her. might it have been an indication of a problem? or something else

Keep your eye on it, it might be the start of an infection, some times they swell so much that there vulva can scrape on the floor /floor material in there living space an if it's not spotless she will get an infection.

 

I had ferrets for years only ever kept jills never had a problem NOT breeding them or having them jabed

 

And there will be hundreds of kits available in a couple of months, save yourself a lot of hassle.
