gnasher16 30,254 Posted April 7, 2014 Report Share Posted April 7, 2014 Went to a tribute today at my old club Repton,this time last year saw the first post match boxing fatality in the Uk this century......Michael Norgrove was a nice lad from a nice family who came into the sport late on and showed good promise winning the novice London aba,s before turning pro.........went into his 6th fight unbeaten but the fight was stopped in the last round and Mike was taken to hospital with a bleed on the brain and tragically died 9 days later...........while i appreciate nobody on here has likely ever heard of him it doesnt hurt to do a good deed now and then so if anyone feels like making a small donation to a registered charity in his name....would be most appreciated.
