She's a lovely little thing,,,plays on the back garden all day with the terrier,,,not done a single thing training wise yet,,,it took two weeks for us all to agree on a name,,,,even after reading out thousasands of names from a name site on line,,,,

 

Then I just happened to mention to my mrs,,,,she's a Bonnie looking thing isn't she,,,,and that was it,,,Bonnie ..

 

Jim get some straws from that old dog,,, I think you will regret it if you don't ..

I know mate... remember that trip to the vets at 4am...? I know one or 2 who would have got the spade out at 2am. . . I don't regret a single penny I've spent/lost/squandered on my dogs. . . . or ferrets... lol.

 

 

Jim you have a photo book full of memories of big bags and long days with everything on the lists ticked off and done over the last 30 odd years. . I cant tell you anything you don't already know.. But all I can say is I enjoy the quality of sport nowadays and the numbers are the very last thing on my list of priorities.

 

Come out with me and Tomo and watch the dogs working them big bankings and ferreting with no nets down. . . To me these days, that is the sport of kings, and a true test of the dogs skills. . . . I could'nt go ferreting with no dog ... its just boring...lol.

Obviously,.if you are on an earner or rabbit catching,.under orders,.well,.it is a different ball game,.but nowadays,.my life is too short for such things..Personaly,..I like to catch enough rabbits to make the morning buzz and the dogs get their teeth in,.and then, the call of a roaring log fire, a comfortable chair to sink into, jukels lying at my feet, and a strong drink working its magic,..does me nicely...

 

Pressure kills,.and self made pressure is the fecking worst,...been there, done that,..cannot hack it any more....

i got a litter sister to yours Tomo she's doing very well settled in really well growing a lot too. 16tts at 10 weeks yesterday if my maths are correct . Looking forward to taking her out after her next injection and getting her chipped. Really lively little thing always wanting to please.
