took the little shit out to introduce him to the sheep this morning,he started well, having a cautious look at the lambs and ewes and I thought, this is going to be a piece of piss,i left him loose after a few minutes as he was questinably calm, and for him that is amazing cause hes wound up to the last constantly.so he walked about and watched the flock trot about and THEN the little fukka went into attack mode, chasing the biggest sheep about,I ran like the clappers and my lad kevin somehow grabbed a back leg of the pursuing dog and retied him with a half decent smack from the daily star paper rolled into a batton.it didnt upset the b*****d one iota.so I said we will introduce him to the big boys,THE RAMS!!!!Off up to the shed I went and there were 10 of the nicest fellas you could want to meet,i thought ,''this will soften your cough now lad''...............how wrong I was,he was straight in and the first ram, head butted him into next week, not a reverse step did the pup take straight back in,and i behind him with me rolled up newspaper, the farmer was having a right giggle watching on.the sheep split and the pup went for the arse of one,i left him have it big time,he stoped and took a moment to ponder and was just about to go again until I retied him.I was aghast, never did i imagine he'd have the balls to face them up,I spoke to the farmer and we have another date set with the rams but this time they will be in a pen where they cant run away and he reckons they will stand their ground and punish the little shit a bit better,so wait for episode 2 and see how that goes.

He seems head strong full over prey drive. That's the good way, however, going by experience and rams, some years ago, i did the same with a pup, she ended up so broken up by one bad butt off a ram, she had to get put down, not having a go, just giving my experience on the matter..
