Leave her off 'til august, then I'm sure she'll be ok.

It's nothing to do with strike mate. It's nothing physical at all. It's in her head. When she matures she'll be fine.

It could be a confidence thing or as said it's only a pup .   It's a difficult to one give advice on because there are so many factors and question to ask .   but I'd say wait and she and i'm pret

Cheers guys not gonna rush her still bit young plus season is over , its the strike she needs to master very fast dog keeps up well chasing for fun at the moment not to catch :/. She as saluki whippet gray .

I have the same breed pal had the very same problem. Fast enough just not picking up on lamp. Day time rabbits when ferreting and mooching catching for fun.

Only just got him catching on the lamp in march embarrassing really compared to some dogs at that age.

Had some help from gaffer (top bloke) off hear took me out and gave me some pointers on were I was going wrong. Dog acted up when out with his dog but one on one he is doing very well at the minute, recall, not hunting up but retrieving still needs work. It took him time to adjust to the lamp, but he missed 1st half of season through injury.
