DogFox123 1,379
Is it really such a big deal using a motor these days..???? To me it's just another way of lamping, its the norm now for some, just how they do it.... Half of you sound like the sad old boys back in the day, who thought the coming of lamps was wrong, from the 'traditional' uses of running dogs.. Or the arrival of the Saluki and Bull crosses... Get over it... Your never gonna change them that have, or do use motors.... It's never gonna go because it gets results.... End of....!!!!!!!!! Exactly lamping especially in a 4x4 is not about giving the quarry a sporting chance, it's all about the catching. not for everyone mate .some people are very sporting you would be shocked I've yet to meet one of those people yet, lamping in a 4x4 is all about the catching IMO. When I run rabbits, I don't say 'great run, good rabbit, deserved to get away that one', do I feck, it ain't the Waterloo Cup! I run rabbits to catch them, not piss 'em off...!! Lamping, by its very nature, is done to catch gear. When your talking 'sporting chance' whats the difference between a 4x4 and the million plus dazzler, half blinding and confusing the quarry. Saying 4x4 lamping is unsporting, is like saying lamps and nets are too. Quote Link to post

I'd say using a 4x4 is a necessity with certain quarry aswell. Quote Link to post
