4X4 Lamping

So many lurcher lads these days all talk about kill kill kill.

 

If that's what your after get a 22.250 and a thermal imaging kit, you will be a legend within the week

 

Id prefer to be out enjoying the peace and quiet and using field craft and knowledge to put game in front of the dog. 4x4 lamping can make mediocre dogs look good, I know because I've seen it many a time.

There's a time and place for both but I know which I prefer

Done it with airrifle no dogs,I prefer to walk dog see the wildlife ,mooch about now.

I can understand that but being stood on the back of a pickup you can see things you'd not see walking from a much better vantage point

You talk of becoming invisible i can only assume that you mean sneaking off if your poaching. I can only speculate here because i dont poach. But if i needed ti get away i would much rather take my chances in a motor than on foot.

dissapear on foot your likely to get away.......try getting away in a motor and you will get the chopper out......

round hear you get the copper out for lamping on foot because of nosey members of the public who no nothing happens all the time
