MickHowes 9
Out today for an hour while it was calm just before the rain hit, a few rabbits out but got a clean shot on 1 that i counted out at 42 paces. Guns zero range is 30 yards and i had 1 & 1/4 Holdover and took it cleanly:) Will check the diablo exacts also later instead of the aa fields and see which rides better through my rifle. All in all not a bad hours shoot. Quote Link to post
DenBell 149
Nice one mate, you got to take advantage of the weather when you can. How did you find the MAP 6? Ive bought the same one for the same reason but haven't been able to get out yet. Quote Link to post
MickHowes 9
Yes bud sure do , was out yesterday and got 2 aswell in a few hours!, Ermm the reticles Alright tbh. I myself wanted the 10x mildots but they were out of stock on a 6 week lead time so i got the map6 for that reason only. Howver saying that it is a good enough scope. Zerod at 30 and the 4 mildots/ reticle lines are accurate enough if you calibrate properly:) No zero shifting or nothing like that, very good turrets. All in all its good:) Quote Link to post
DenBell 149
I wanted the half mildot but they were all out and it would have been nearly a week and I didn't have the patience for that, the map 6 made me a bit nervous, don't like only having 3-4 points hold over but I did think that now I have 177 it shouldn't be a big problem Quote Link to post
MickHowes 9
.in 177 u should really only be using the first 2 either side, unless Ur VERY confident u will kill, then i myself wouldn't risk wounding. U should be fine. Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
This shows the drop my .22 hw100kt has from the 3 shot 28 yard zero and a 3 shot wobbily group at 47 yards, with jsb exact 15.89gr 5.52 mm flying at 11.4 ftlbs . the groups could be a lot tighter but there was a breeze and I was wobbling as I hadn't adjusted the bipod properly and was straining my neck. it worked out at roughly 2 mildots holdover on my sr pro sidewinder at 10x magnification. You won't need more than 2-3 mil dots on a 0.177 unless you are going 70- yrd shots mate Quote Link to post

I think you find they are the same pellet ,AAs are made by JSB Quote Link to post
MickHowes 9
See that's what I thought, there's no difference in the pellet apart from like 0.1 grain pellet shape build etc are all the same haha Quote Link to post
