Born Hunter 17,798
They can do what they like with my corpse, I won't be needing it after my time in this life. But what that man did was imo heroic, he risked his own life to save that of another, simple as that.
clipo 871
dont think no one would want my lungs or liver....... serious tho if i had anything of use they can have it!!! dont think id like someone elses in me tho...... or if i did id have to know where it come from as if i found out i had a pakis heart or something like that in me i dont think i could cope with that!!!! thats very narrow minded i no but thats just how i feel now, at the time tho if it was essential to keep me alive then who knows.......hopefully it will never come to that tho and ill die off a heart attack after just giving mila kunis one......

air gun ant 1,666
if theres anything left in me thats any good they can have it! but i think to take anything from me while im still here, it would only be going to my nearest and dearest. perhaps a bit selfish i no but having said that bone marrows a differant matter, done some fund raiseing for the Anthony nolan trust and if im a mach for anybody id gladly let them have some. fireman 10,977
One fecker i would have been pissed off with if they'd have used a family memebers organ was that waste of space George Best, should of took that liver back out and given to a more deserving cause imo.
sandymere 8,263
Should be an opt out rather than opt in for all the country, isn't no good to you when your dead and even knackered bodies will have some usable parts. We spend millions every year supporting people waiting for transplants yet burn/bury thousands of usable parts every year. Perhaps its time to pay people, say their children/spouse get a payment when people die who have agreed to being used for transplant. Sounds awful but I’m pragmatic and it would save thousands of lives and millions of pounds. A win for all and you could always instruct that the payment goes to a charity.
