davyt63 1,845
Think I'm gonna go up the range with a newbie mate on Sunday morning and go with the next part of his shooting training, then I'm off on the squizzers up the farm on Monday. Only saw one last week over 350 acres, so looks like we've nearly cleared em out again over winter. Or they've all drowned... then up to me, on Thursday! then Friday Davyt63 & Wurz go to play!! gunna be a good week end! 1 Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
Simon Its the worse gun Ive ever had ,under powered ,stiff built ,pellet went in to the hammer , over powered , been back 3 times ,pile of crap we sell it and buy another HW100KT in .177 to match my .22 Seems to be a problem with the Daystate mechanism that. When my Mark 3 was stripped down a mangled pellet was removed from the mechanism. Could be that the pellets need to be seated firmly in the magazine ie use a prodder so that the head goes past the o ring and holds in place. I do that to all the "BSA" type magazines I have. Simon that could be a reason for the stiff cocking on your Regal, you could have a pellet in the mechanism. After the Mark 3 was stripped down at it's last service and the mangled pellet removed mine became much easier to cock! 1 Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Wouldn't hurt to get it stripped down and see what's going on Mike To be fair, the rifle is a beauty to shoot. It just seems to lack power. I'm really not used to seeing my .177 pellets actually hit the target in broad daylight! Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Are you sure it is up to speed? I know they have had a problem with some of the Regals being a bit under power. Mind I have watched a few fly from the Mark 3 recently and seen the pellet in flight, but that was at 45 metres.... Quote Link to post
