Best Semi-Auto .22?

CZ 511 if you find a good used one, very well made, easy to strip, just as accurate as a bolt action, or the new 512 CZ, Rugers are good too and you can get tons of trick bits for them, but the CZ wins in my book.

 

I've been looking at a CZ511 for sale and could be tempted. What's so good about them?

 

The statement that they are as accurate as a bolt action sounds quite impressive for a semi

 

They are an exact copy internally of an m1 carbine, you can strip them without tools in about 10 seconds, and they are very simple and strong, the trigger while heavy, is crisp without any creep, as for accuracy, I had an anschutz x1v carbine, bolt action and it was very accurate, the CZ 511 will group as near as damn it the same @ 45 yards with eley subs, if you get one make sure you get the subsonic model, it is stamped on the barrel, if you ever feel the need to use hv through it, you can get a stronger recoil spring from the states for about a tenner, I have to say I love mine and its walnut stock is very nice, or if you want the new model its the cz 512, just as good I believe.
