let'sshoot 11
I have Winchester primers and Magtech Some are small rifle, the others are small pistol? What is the difference? The choice of powder I have is Reloader 15 or Varget Thanks Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Dont get them mixed up whatever you do, I think small pistol primers are hotter than rifle but I could be wrong on that, but in any case, dont mix them up it is very dangerous. Quote Link to post

let'sshoot 11
What powder/primer you using whippeter? What rifle you got? Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
The bullets i buy from my local dealer, ask in yours for some Hornady Superformance in 223 and if they don't have any, then tell them to get some. They are about £25 for 20 but they are good mate. The best factory load iv tried. The set up i use is a Tikka T3 Stainless Synthetic with a 1 in 12 twist rate, Predator 8 Moderator harris bipod and Leupold VX1 3-9-50 Looking to upgrade there scope in the summer to something a bit more powerful but it works well enough having shot a fox a few weeks ago at 350 yards under the lamp. Tornado1979 145
I was recommended the 53g Hornady Superformance for the 223, and was not disappointed, only £19 at my local RFD for 20. Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
£19 !!! Thats not bad. Better than my local £25 ! 1 Quote Link to post
