My Daughter Was Born When I Was 19 , She Had Her Son At 22 , Making Me A G.F. At 41 . She Now Has 2 Boys , She's 27 She's Never Been On Benefits As Her Partner Off 8 yrs Has Always Worked & She Now Goes To Night School , I'm Still With Her Mother , 29yrs Now Though Still Not Married , Which Shows You Can Have Kids Young And Still Live A Good Life As Long As You Have The Right Person Alongside You . 9 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
NEWKID 27,518 Posted April 1, 2014 Report Share Posted April 1, 2014 My brother was 18 when he had his daughter as was his then girlrfiend.... who he's now married to, they've been together since they were 14..... his daughters 16 next week, it seems mad, from when he told me through tears in his bedroom 16 odd years ago that he was going to be a dad.... Fair play to them both they made a good life for themselves and their 2 girls plus we've had our own business together since he was 19, his wife now works for us and has always worked too.........but........... 13 ffs....... I'd go mad if she was my girl, I watched my brother and sister in law struggle to come to terms with being so young with a baby, ( we all lived together in our own place for the first 6 months or so), and it was really hard work...... at 13 she should still be playing with her mates, being a kid, not looking after a baby imo Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Let's face it if that was any normal person whos 13 year old was pregnant. The baby would end up been the gran n grandad child till the mother was 18 or maybe older. Yes it's proper shite and crazy. If that was my 13 year old who had the kid it would be the same as any other baby I'd make sure. I make sure it didn't want for anything and would get treated the same as mine. But that's just me. There is good bit of difference between 13 n 16. 13 your in first or second year at high school.
