Syndicate Shoot Rights

Recommended Posts

it was a verbal agreement for shooting rights that always carried on never was a time limit and had good relationship with farmer

last season rent was doubled. since last season 1st of feb there has been a work party every 2 weeks where he came and chat with us

is there any grand father rights or just find some where else ?

it was a shoot we created a lot of years ago everything is bought or scrounge by us

Its okay saying that but you have nothing in writing what are you going to do if the farmer stops you accessing his land ?. you cant or wont be allowed to pick anything up . With a written agreement you can even agree roughly how many pheasants you have to leave etc to stop a leaving syndicate wiping them all out

Don't argue then. Just quietly take your belongings and dismantle the pens.

the farmer is not arguing about us taking our gear it just annoying that all the time and effort creating

shoot to just have to walk away

it has all happened because its a family farm who the brothers run paying rent to his sisters

they have found out he was getting paid of us for the sporting rights so we are being blamed and kicked of.

do you take your feeders drinkers etc or leave them there its hard to get more land to start with as for pens

they are dug into the ground by 18inch more effort than worth just hope he sees its not us at fault and change his mind.

I would get all my gear off and the pens that's dug in the ground I'd go a bit daft way the chainsaw and flatten the lot. You've no rights mate he says she says doesn't stand up anywhere bad crack I know hut that's the way of the world.

I would try arrange a meeting with all the concerned parties to see if an agreement can be reached whereby all parties are satisfied with the outcome. It might not be easy, especially if there's bad blood between the brothers and sisters but that's their problem, not yours or the syndicates and an amicable solution may well be reached.

I would hold off on removing your stuff from the farm until such a meeting has taken place.
